Not every project calls for a full-length board. That's exactly where our Hardwood Shorts shine. These are mill-fresh pieces cut to manageable lengths, typically ranging from 12" to 48", making them ideal for smaller woodworking projects, turning blanks, inlays, box-making, and more.

Many shorts are milled to a fixed 4" width, though select species are available in random widths. Every piece carries the same character and quality you'd expect from a full-size board, just in a more accessible format.
